Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will transfer you to the home of the chimpanzee, the drive takes approximately take 6 hours to reach the destination, passing through the small towns and villages of western Uganda, the forest occupied by the highest cover in the Kabarole district overlooking the Fort Portal plateau and the Ndali crater lake region, we will arrive in time for a hot lunch and an afternoon relaxation around the lodge, feel free to relax and enjoy as we wait for the following day’s adventures dinner and staying overnight at

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Morning breakfast after which we will be transferred to the Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a morning briefing from the Uganda wildlife ranger, Chimpanzee is said to be the closest relatives of mankind they share up to 98% of the human DNA,  living in groups of up to 100 troops led by a male alpha, the primates are characterized by their social behavior communicating through the charter sound, they around enough in that you will hear them at a distance before you can meet them, the track takes 2-3 hours in groups of eight as listed by the Uganda wildlife authority, we will return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon swamp walk at the Bigodi in search of primates we might have missed in the forest like blue monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys including several bird species. Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On this day following a beautiful breakfast, we will hit the road to the home of mountain gorillas, passing through the southern sector of the Ishasha sector this is an animal corridor of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, it is well known for the tree climbing lions, on a lucky day you will see  lions in the tree climbing lions, we will arrive at Bwindi in the late evening, the forest at your exposure is so angelic to see, in it is the vast population of the mountain Gorilla species, gorilla beringei these live in the forest freely enjoying and feeding on the plants of the forest, dinner and stay overnight will be served at

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Early morning breakfast after which we will be transferred to the park headquarters for  Gorilla trekking experience, guests will first be entertained by the community dancers, followed by a briefing from the Uganda wildlife park rangers, they will tell you so much about the primate’s gentle species live within the forest in groups of up to 20 members led by a male silverback, it is an amazing experience as you trek through the forest, tough as it may seem, it is always rewarding at the end of the day as you meet gorillas, it takes 2-8 hours trekking or even the entire day, returning to meet your guide who will transfer you back to lodge  for dinner and stay overnight at

Morning tea or coffee after which we will return to Kampala or Entebbe for our international flight back home.
