3 Days Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga National Park

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company driver/guide who will meet greet, and transfer you to the western part of Uganda passing through the angelic hills of the Kigezi highlands along which are growing banana and tea plantations, the ambience of the region is intriguing and comfortable to visit, we will stop over at the Equator for a picture moment and later proceed to the park as we pass via the beautiful Lake Mutanda arriving in time for dinner and staying overnight at Luxury: Chameleon Hill Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner                                         

Day 2: Golden Monkey Tracking and Batwa Community Experience

After early morning breakfast, we will be transferred to the park centre for a morning briefing from the park rangers, in groups the Uganda wildlife ranger will lead you into the forest in search of primates, experience the best of the walk as you walk through the soothing forest, the walk is a tedious hike as it involves moving up and down of the hills to the bamboo forest, upon meeting the primates an hour is allowed while with them, they pose for the best pictures but are pretty and fast as well hence it is important to set your Camera ready, tracking time takes 2-4 hours depending on how far the monkeys have roamed returning to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon visit to the Batwa community, the group of people used to live on the forest until they were evicted due to Conservation purposes. Returning for dinner and staying overnight at Luxury: Chameleon Hill Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Departure

Following an early morning breakfast, we will be transferred downhill through the lovely hills to Entebbe or Kampala for our departure.
