Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Welcome to Bujumbura City

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will take you to the hotel that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight, depending on the time you arrive, you will be able to do a half-day Bujumbura city tour, visiting the Museum for historical facts on the country, we will then return to the park for an overnight at

Day 2: Transfer To Kirundo – Great Lakes Region

Early morning breakfast, we will drive to northern Burundi towards the Kirundo a place of many lakes in Burundi, here you will find a fusion of birds in the region, discovering birds is done on motorized boats en-route to the lakes, we will stop over at the to spend some time at the tea plantations of Teza take pictures, the whole day will be spent at the lake in search of birds, example species include the pied kingfishers, herons, pelicans, egrets, to mention a few returning to Bujumbura for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 3: Transfer To Kibira National Park

Kibira national park is known for its primate species it is a continuation of the Nyungwe Forest National Park in Rwanda, transfer to the park for a briefing from the park rangers, following breakfast, in the company of a tour guide explore the national conservation area in search of birds, you will meet a few primates of the national park, bird to see include the spotted full tail, grey parrots, great blue turaco, black and white hornbills, to mention a few, returning to the lodge  for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 4: Departure

Morning breakfast, after which you will be transferred to the international airport for your international flight back home as you say goodbye to the country that has been home for some days.
