The conservation area is one of the oldest parks of east Africa, it was gazette as a way of protecting the critically endangered species of the mountain gorillas. Detailed Itinerary
Day1: Arrival and Transfer To Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our company representative who will pick up, brief you and transfer you to Volcanoes National Park, the conservation area is approximately 2 hours drive through the rolling hills of Rwanda, it is a scenic experience to the park, and we will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon visit to the Iby’iwacu community. These will perform to their traditional songs, give you a queenly or Kingly treat returning to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 2: First Day Gorilla Trekking Experience
Morning breakfast, after which we will be transferred to the park headquarters for a morning briefing from the park rangers about the mountain gorillas, in groups of eight you will be allocated a gorilla family to track, the activity takes 2 or 8 hours depending on how far the gorilla families have moved, the hike to the forest may seem tough but rewarding at the end of the day as you into the eyes of the gorilla you will be amazed by how beautiful they look returning to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 3: Second Day Gorilla Trekking Experience
On this second day of experience gorillas we will reassemble at the park for mountain gorillas, the briefing will be conducted and just like the previous day you will be divided into groups of eight per gorilla family, this time round we will follow a different gorilla group, gorillas keep moving from one place to another, the solemnly feed in one point giving room for the plants to grow, these nest on the ground and baby gorillas live in the same nest as parents, meeting the primates is very heart melting as they jump up and down of trees while they enjoy the jungle dinner and staying overnight at

Day 4: Departure
On this day you will have morning tea or coffee after which you will depart to the Kigali International Airport for our flight back home.
