Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated in the southwestern corner of Uganda, it is home to the critically endangered species of the mountain Gorillas gorilla beringei a subspecies of the eastern gorillas, there is half of the world’s remaining population within the ecosystem roaming freely without being captivated, the forest is one of the few remaining tropical rain forests in Uganda it has been bisected into 4 sectors Nkuringo, Rushaga, Buhoma, and Ruhija each of these sectors has habituated gorilla families for visitors to encounter. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On this day you will be picked up early morning by our company representative who will transfer you to the home of mountain gorillas passing through the rolling angelic evergreen hills, and banana and tea plantations, we will have 2 brief stopovers the first one at the Equator where the line that divides the earth into 3 half’s crosses, for picture moment proceeding to Mbarara town for lunch at a selected restaurant the 9 hours drive continues to arrive at the park in the evening, check-in at the lodge and enjoy dinner and staying overnight at Luxury: Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge. Midrange: Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge. Best Budget: Bakiga Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Early morning breakfast, following a transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by 8:00am East African time, the ranger will be you tell you about the forest and how to conduct yourself while with the Mountain gorilla, in groups of eight per gorilla family, the activity will begin, the hike through the forest might be strenuous exercise hence consider a physical fitness while booking a gorilla safari, it takes 2–8 hours or even the entire day in search of the gorillas depending on how far they have moved, it is a heart-melting moment to meet the gentle species as they will seem so welcoming as they do not even mind you being present while they do their daily activities, an hour is allowed to be with them while observing the gorilla rules and regulations returning to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge. Day 3: Departure

You will have morning tea and something for us to eat, later which you transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe for departure, arriving in the evening time.
